My dad says "Lake Geneva is tan."
"Why?" I am foolish enough to ask.
"Because," says he, "it is a neutral color."

If I say things like this, maybe I can avoid thinking about the end of the school year. I'm scared, so it doesn't exist - and really, it doesn't even feel like it's over.
At least I don't have English or Latin anymore.
