polutropeYay I ordered Mignon! It should be here the ninth. If I like it, it will be the first French opera that I don't dislike. (Although I can't really judge Massanet on Le Cid and an awful recording of Manon in Italian.)
(Uh, I'm doing this on the basis of two arias. As far as I can tell, the plot is god-awful. But they're really pretty arias!)
