So, I was looking at the Reed website. I shouldn't do things like that; I get very excited. But it looks so... superficially pretty... though we can pretend that I'm only interested in the acedemics. And those look very good too. I like their attitude towards the SAT writing test, which is essentially that they're not confident in it to predict the ability of a student, and they ask for a corrected writing sample. I personally think that the writing test is worthless, in part because, although they deny it, they grade on length.

But anyway. Reed also makes you take placement tests for languages, which perturbs me just a little, even though I know I would do fine on them. However, I am glad, since it means they wouldn't put me in a 'this is the accusitive. What does it do?" class.
