polutropeAs an addendum to yesterday's review, I would like to say: Language doesn't work that way!
They go to an island of rebels who left the Empire five hundred years ago. Jant uses a book to learn the dialect of the time. OK, so they could communicate some. But not in an hour and a half, dammmit!
And that's not even addressing the fact that language changes - it wouldn't be exactly the same dialect.
In conclusion, NO! Wrong!
